Texas is My New BFF

Thank you, Texas.

I hope somebody in or near Shiner, TX reads this and passes the news to the guy who beat to death the guy who was raping his four-year old daughter.

Dude,

You did the exact correct thing. Remorse is not (NOT) necessary. Just because it was in the basic shape of a human does not make it human. It was a predatory animal. It needed to die and you killed it.

If it had been my daughter being raped and I found the act in progress, I sincerely hope I’d still be pounding my fist into a mushy pile of goo that used to be its head when the police arrived to drag me off of it. “It,” not, “him.” I’d feel the same remorse you might feel if you swatted a mosquito.

And the Texas grand jury that decided not to prosecute you gives me hope.

That’s the kind of hope I’ve been awaiting for some time. Maybe there’s some common sense lingering. Maybe there’s still a chance for America. I’m clinging to that vestige of hope.

I’m pretty sure I’m not the only one.

Don’t you dare feel sorry for killing an amoral predator. You eradicated one threat to society and you did it a lot cheaper than our courts would have. You don’t know how many little girls won’t be raped and killed because you killed that thing. Bravo, dude. Bravo.

Your Pal,

Rip

P.S. If you’re ever in the neighborhood, drop by. I’ll buy whatever you’re drinking until you can’t stand up. Even if it’s diet Dr. Pepper
